A Bronze Retractable Screen Door Installed At Renaissance Terrace In Oceanside

A homeowner at Renaissance Terrace in Oceanside wanted airflow from the ocean without giving up the look of their entry. The solution was a retractable screen door finished in bronze to match the existing door hardware and exterior trim.

The bronze housing blends into the entryway rather than standing out against it. When the screen is in use, the mesh is nearly invisible and lets the coastal breeze through while keeping bugs out. When it is not needed, the screen retracts fully into the housing and disappears. No latches to fiddle with, no permanent frame cutting across the front of the door.
